What is Backup and why do I need to have it?
Backup quite simply means a copy of your computer files; perhaps photos, videos, written documents are made and stored somewhere else.
If your computer was stolen or damaged by fire or flood and you didn’t have it backed up, how would you feel? You would have lost all your precious photos and maybe some important documents forever? These days with many of us using our smartphones for a camera we don’t often print the pictures we take so keeping them safe digitally is vital.
What does Backup protect me from?
By having a backup service you will protect your chosen files from loss of computer, fire or theft, computer failure and even human error where files are deleted by mistake.
Data Recovery
If you haven’t managed to get your back up support in place and you have had a hardware failure, don't panic, we also offer a Data Recovery service which allows us to recover files (including photos) from a damaged hard drive.
We offer two levels of recovery to a choice of new disks.
